Overview:
A hand-operated mechanism is a device used for manually operating valves or other equipment, usually serving as a backup operation mode for automatic control systems. It is employed when automatic control malfunctions or manual intervention is required.
Structural composition:
Operating handle, transmission device, clutch device, limit device
Working principle:
The hand control mechanism causes the handle to rotate or move in a straight line by the operator applying force to it. This movement is transmitted to the valve core or valve stem of the valve through the transmission device, thereby changing the valve opening and achieving the regulation of parameters such as fluid flow and pressure. During manual operation, the clutch device is in the connected state to ensure that the movement of the hand-operated mechanism can be accurately transmitted to the valve. Meanwhile, the limit device will monitor the opening degree of the valve in real time. When it reaches the set limit position, it will restrict the further movement of the manual operating mechanism to protect the safety of the valve and related equipment.
