Overview:

The working principle of the manual flanged gate valve is to control the opening and closing of the valve by the lifting and lowering of the gate plate. When it is necessary to open the valve, the operator rotates the handwheel or handle clockwise. The valve stem drives the gate to move upward, causing the gate to leave the valve seat and the valve to open. The medium can flow freely in the pipeline. When it is necessary to close the valve, rotate the handwheel or handle counterclockwise. The gate will move downward until it is tightly in contact with the valve seat, and the valve will close to prevent the medium from passing through. During the valve closing process, the sealing surfaces between the gate and the valve seat squeeze each other to form a seal, preventing the leakage of the medium.
