Overview:

A check valve is a type of valve that automatically opens and closes its flap by relying on the flow of the medium itself, used to prevent the backflow of the medium. It is also known as a non-return valve, a one-way valve, a counter-flow valve, and a back pressure valve. A check valve is a type of automatic valve. Its main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium, prevent the reverse rotation of the pump and the driving motor, and release the medium in the container. Check valves can also be used on pipelines that supply auxiliary systems where the pressure may rise above the system pressure.
