Overview:

The pneumatic three-section ball valve is a shut-off valve capable of achieving two-step opening or two-step closing actions. It is composed of a three-section pneumatic actuator (i.e., 0°-45°-90° or 0°-90°-180°) and the ball valve body. By changing the piston stroke of the additional cylinder, the actuator and the valve rotation Angle are stopped at the pre-set Angle (45°-90°), thus the valve flow rate is regulated. This device controls the flow of the valve by two solenoid valves. Due to the adoption of rapid exhaust and throttling functions in the actuator, the two-stage ball valve has excellent on-off characteristics. It slows down the opening and closing speed of the valve, makes the fluid changes in the pipeline smooth, and avoids the water hammer phenomenon caused by impact, which may lead to the explosion of flammable fluids. It also prevents the damage of flowmeters and other instruments in the system due to impact. Therefore, it is suitable for flow control systems in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, light industry, and national defense, and is particularly suitable for oil storage and transportation systems.
